These are installed quite easily. Mount the part you want to use these for with self tapping screws. Remove the part, then make a hold the same size as the Rubber Rivnut. Slide nut in. Once all nuts are installed, put our washer and bolt in and tighten it up. The bolt pulled the threads towards the part, making a mushroom shape behind the body panel you're mounting too.
